Pearl Jam rocked out at the Los Angeles Sports Arena last night to what looked like a sold out crowd. The Sports Arena sits close to 17,000 people and like me, the entire audience seemed totally engrossed in the songs, singing along, having a great time.

Pearl Jam songs have been featured in many films, my favorite use including Singles (“State of Love and Trust” in which they played last night) – where they had a cameo – Big Fish (“Man of the Hour”), and Out of the Furnace (“Release” – brilliant use in the trailer and song, they played last night as well). Lead singer Eddie Vedder did the soundtrack for Into the Wild as well.

I’ve personally been a fan of Pearl Jam since the beginning, I remember buying their first album Ten, getting hooked, and buying every album since then. Seeing them in concert was on my bucket list and the concert met and exceeded my expectations – I’m still on a high today.
